Welcome to The Silver Society Belgium

Founded in 1999, The Silver Society Belgium (TSSB) is dedicated to promoting and enhancing the appreciation and recognition of silversmiths and their work, from past centuries to the present day, with a particular focus on Belgium and Europe.


The Society brings together a diverse community of collectors, experts, silversmiths, scholars, conservators, restorers and dealers who share a passion for the art, history and craftsmanship of silver. Our interests encompass a wide range of periods, styles, techniques and traditions.The TSSB organises meetings, lectures, private visits and excursions in Belgium and abroad on a regular basis. These activities provide members with opportunities to exchange knowledge and expertise, discover important collections, meet leading specialists and further their understanding and appreciation of the fascinating world of silver.The Society also supports and sponsors initiatives that contribute to these objectives and help promote the study, preservation and appreciation of silver and the art of silversmithing.
